Hangin' out with my nephew, Captain Jack Sniffy, has been super great this last week. I think his thighs have doubled their circumference since last Saturday and he is wearing lots of six-month clothes (while he just turned 3mo.). Yesterday, my brother,Chris, Jack, and I went to his his graduate school campus, Virginia Tech. It is absolutely beautiful. The green space is sprawling and the buildings carry out a definite theme with slate roofs and limestone facades. Even the brand new building are in keeping with the original campus. On the way there we drove through Ironto. While my motion sickness almost got the better of me, the scenery was fantastic. The roads were cut out of the sides of mountains and we followed streams to farms to "The Church of God" before arriving in Blacksberg. Great day trip.
